What We Offer

Competitive Commission

Commission is paid semi-monthly after travel is completed and starts at 70% for new agents. Experienced agents can earn up to 90% of their gross commission.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about travel, willing to learn, self-directed, open to feedback, and willing to take initiative. No prior industry experience is required, but is a plus.

This role requires researching, planning, and managing travel arrangements for leisure and/or business travel. This role entails providing tourism related services and package tours on behalf of our suppliers.

We also provide training, tools, and resources to support you in growing your personal client base. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, exceed client expectations and keep our clients satisfied to promote recurring business.

  • Must have your own computer, high-speed internet, and phone
  • Passion for travel and willingness to learn
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to operate web-based platforms for booking and research
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong sales skills
  • Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
  • Personal travel experience a plus
  • Familiarity with social platforms (for marketing activities) a plus
  • Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends a plus, but not required
  • Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field a plus, but not required
  • Experience as a travel agent, advisor or planner a plus

Absolutely! Our comprehensive training program will cover everything from how to work with suppliers to marketing your business.

Each module includes video lessons, workbooks and valuable resources and tools.

This is a commission only position. You will be an independent contractor with Ahoy Vacations.

Each of our travel suppliers pay a commission on travel booked through them. Commission is paid to you after your client travels.

You will have access to a private, agent only group where you can ask questions.

Private, one-on-one coaching sessions can also be scheduled with our agency owner to address any individual needs.
